OUR WORK
SBNP isn't a crisis-response program. We work upstream: the game creates steady, trusted contact with young people before a crisis, and that relationship opens the way to everything else they need to grow.
Schools, courts, camps and neighborhoods: the place can change while the relationship stays.
We work alongside crisis-response groups, not against them. The city needs both.

69 spots across two elementary schools. Yoga, fitness, breathwork and mindfulness.
Basketball for violence prevention, with AAU and 16U development. Funded by a three-year PCCD grant.
Skills, fitness, Pilates, yoga and mindfulness, with gear from SBNP.
Travel-circuit competition and steady coaching. 33 athletes outfitted.
Two week-long sessions with meals and special guests.
A summer league and Hoop Bus days.
Everyone gets to play. Transportation, meals, equipment, uniforms and sneakers aren't extras. They remove barriers so young people can show up every time.
As reported by SBNP.
