    OUR WORK

Basketball isn't the program. It's the door.

    Our model

SBNP isn't a crisis-response program. We work upstream: the game creates steady, trusted contact with young people before a crisis, and that relationship opens the way to everything else they need to grow.

    1. 01 EngageBasketball builds trust with young people who may never walk into a program office.
    2. 02 DevelopAthletics, wellness, education, mentoring and opportunity, under one plan.
    3. 03 LeadParticipants grow into coaches, mentors and community leaders.
    4. 04 ReinvestSuccess isn't the end of the pathway. Alumni come home as coaches, mentors and leaders.

    The safe haven travels

Schools, courts, camps and neighborhoods: the place can change while the relationship stays.

    Before a crisis

We work alongside crisis-response groups, not against them. The city needs both.
